A mother's patience is the grandest thing that exists, or at least mine is.
DD#2 sure tried it last night! She's been waking up during the night lately for no apparent reason, other than wanting her doudou. So I finally had enough last night, and didn't go see her. HO WELL! That didn't go to well for her.
She started crying, and grew into a total tantrum. After putting her back in her bed too many times, I proceeded to place a gate in her doorway. Low and behold, it's the end of the world.......
Tantrum grew into hysterics, screaming, cryings, gagging, choking etc.....
But I held on, barely, to dear life, wanting to just go and put her back into her bed and tell her it was all OK, and to go to sleep, but it would never end!
Almost two hours later, she finally gave up! Went to bed.
Mommy gave a BIG sigh of relief, and fell asleep too.
Round one went to mommy, what will tonight bring????
