Thanks to a friend blogger, I noticed her cool new look, and wanted one for myself, so here it is!
Maple sugar season has been one to remember. We enjoyed it, got good sugar out of it, and still a bit more to more, or I should hope so.
Easter is just around the corner, time to spend with family and close friends. Good food, laughs, and did I say good food?
Flowers are sprouting, birds are coming back, animals are waking up, that's all part of living in this beautiful world.
Hope everyone is in high spirits with spring here, brings smiles to faces, and warmth into our homes.
-8c and sunny.

maple syrup making time
It's that time of year again. Maple syrup making time. Weather is being cooperative so far, hopefully it will hold for a few weeks. Give us plenty of time to stock up on the sugary stuff to last 'till next season. It's very time consuming, but HO so worth it. Kids love it, and so do the adults.
-1c very sunny, should be +5c later

impressed
Last night was then end of 17 days of hardship, tears and joy for a lot of us. I'm not a big sports fan, and I have to admit that I was dreading, with only one TV station, having to watch the Olympics for two whole weeks. Surprisingly, it was quite amazing to watch. CTV, hats off to you, you guys did a good job of keeping us up to date, and having the TV on all day long, I didn't miss a thing, and I have to say that the commentators and hosts were quite amusing.
I can say that I'm very proud of everyone that played in the Olympics, Canadian or not! It's my first olympic experience, and I'm proud to say, i enjoyed it from beginning to end.
